But here at New Life you will find no big I's or little u's here. If you ever felt out of place, or not wanted, this is your place, where you are not only needed, also wanted. Pastor Roy was born Sunday February 24, 1963 in Chicago, Ill, just 26 weeks before Dr. King uttered the words: "I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Roy has a genuine love for God and for people. He considers himself a lover of people, seeing the value in every individual. Roy's integrity, keen insight, and passion for helping hurting people, has encouraged thousands to become better Jesus followers. Roy accepted Jesus Christ into his heart at the tender age of 5. And he felt called by God to preach the Gospel at the age of 14. With a Pastor's heart, he shares how that God's love is ever present to heal, to deliver, and is able to set the captives free. Pastor Roy is a dynamic expository preacher. He is known for his vivid sermons. He's articulate, passionate, a natural gifted and inspirational orator. He is the proud Father of 5 children and 3 grandchildren. He is also the Pastor and Founder of The New Life International Church, Inc a multiracial and a multicultural family of lovers of God.
